ARCHBISHOP OF JUBA CALLS SOUTHERNERS TO EMBRACE DIVERSITY

The Catholic Archbishop of Juba called on the people of South Sudan to embrace cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence with other nationalities in the region.

Archbishop Paolini Lukud Loro told the attendance at the official opening of the Eastern Pearl Business Centre in Juba that this was the time to embrace peaceful coexistence with the people from foreign countries, Bakhita Radio reported.

Archbishop Lukudu said the inauguration of the business centre celebrated the cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and South Sudan.

The Prelate said the cooperation with foreign personnel should drive Southerners to overcome tribalism and to unite among themselves to form a nation despite their differences.

Archbishop Lukudu concluded that Southerners should graph the opportunity to strengthen unity in order to find their place in the globalized world.
