A good number of young people from Tonj in Warrap Sate have concluded a three-month training on music skills with great success.
Br. Charles Taban, a Salesian of Don Bosco, told the faithful after Easter Sunday mass that many young people in Tonj are gifted and able to develop their talents if they find teachers to help them, Don Bosco FM reported.He explained that after three months of training a good number of girls and boys are able to play guitar, violin, piano, drums and sing.
Br. Taban urged parents to encourage their children to come to the mission during the afternoons in order to be take advantage of the opportunities to learn new skills.
He added that the kids are intelligent and able to learn if assisted.
Br. Taban said young people are talented and ready to learn if someone teaches them.
