Christians celebrate this evening the Resurrection of Jesus Christ all over the world, a feast that brings history right up to our days and affects the way we live.
These are the feeling of some Juba residents SCR News interviewed this morning.Sacred Heart Sr. Jane Rose Onzia was very busy preparing cakes at the restaurant she manages. She said Easter commemorates the resurrection of Jesus and the new and happy life for Christians.
She said she was making preparations to celebrate a happy Easter with her workers.
Ugandan worker Ronyin Tolome wished listeners a wonderful Easter and urged them to behave well and worship God tomorrow.
Beatrice Onguru also from Uganda said Jesus died to free us from our burdens and she loved him and offered him her heart.
Kenyan Jari Dokoro said Easter is also a reflexion about Jesus and about others, especially the needy.
He added he plans to visit some people in need to stay together and share what he has.
Lona Kako, on her turn, said she will celebrate Easter because Jesus changed her life.
At Easter we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and we recognize how this event has changed us since Jesus shared the power of his new life.
