The SPLM-DC said the SPLA destroyed its Malakal office during an arms search operation.

Onyoti Adigo Nyikwec, who leads the opposition at Southern Sudan Legislative Assembly, told journalists in Juba that on Saturday morning security personnel transported in SPLA-number plated cars broke twice into the SPLM-DC Malakal office, vandalized everything inside and stole 8,000.00 pounds.

Mr. Adigo added that the South Sudan Constitution gives protection to all political parties and it should be respected by the army.

Mr. Adigo said the SPLA’s break in and looting were unjustifiable barbaric acts.
