The Seminarians of St. Paul’s National Major Seminary Theology Section in Khartoum started today their long holiday until July 29.

Auxiliary Bishop Daniel Adwok of Khartoum thanked the members of the staff during the closing mass celebrated this morning.

Bishop Adwok told the seminarians that seminary life is a sacrifice where each one says Here I am Lord I come to do your will.

He asked the seminarians to offer themselves to the Lord and join him in the festival that Jesus will attend in Jerusalem.

Every year the major seminarians break for holidays after Easter Sunday but this year they started before Palm Sunday.

Fr. Thomas Iga, the rector of the seminary, explained that this year the 15 weeks of the second semester concluded before Easter and the seminarians could leave for the annual break at their home dioceses.
