A team from the UN organization for refugees today paid visit to the new commissioner of Yei River County to introduce the agency and find institutional support.
Acting UNCHR head of office in Yei, Guya Joseph, said that the aim of the visit is to introduce the organization and the implementing partners and what they do in county to the news commissioner.He added the UNHCR wanted to find support and build up a relationship with the new commissioner.
Commissioner Elias Wayi Wayi urged the aid organizations to be aware of the problems in the county and promote coordination and cooperation.
The commissioner thanked the UNCHR team for paying the visit to his office.
