Eastern Equatoria primary schools students experienced many difficulties with the new South Sudan school programme.
Sr. Suzan Clare is the matron at Bakhita Girls Primary School in Narus, Kapoeta East County. She told Emmanuel Radio that the new curriculum is difficult to implement and some students dropped out because they were not comfortable with it.She also said that text books were not enough and the teachers do not have guide books to use the new primary school programme.
Sr. Suzan added that Bakhita School may close down due to lack of food for the students.
The school belongs to the Catholic Diocese of Torit and has over 400 girls from different parts of Eastern Equatoria.
