Attendants at the Equatoria Conference 2011 manifested optimism about its outcome.
Justin Laku, a delegate from Canada, told SCR News that the conference will produce tangible, measurable and achievable resolutions because the issues being discussed are fundamental to Equatorians and a concern for the community in the Diaspora. He added that it was very important the three governors were able to tackle the issues together.
Jane Abucher, from the US, said the Equatorians need to be serious and begin a policy of change.
She added that the conference signalled some gaps and concerns that will come out in the resolutions.
Ms. Abucher said she hoped the conference would put in place mechanisms to implement the resolutions for the benefit of Equtatorians and South Sudan.
The Equatoria Conference 2011 concludes tomorrow with an expected contribution from GoSS President Salva Kiir Mayardit.
