The post referendum negotiations in Addis Ababa are not making headway and more meetings are planned to resolve many issues before the independence.

GoSS Minister of Legal Affairs and Constitution Development, John Luk Jok, headed a GoSS negotiating team that met in Addis Ababa with their GoNU counterparts.

He told journalists upon his arrival in Juba International Airport that the round of negotiations that ended on Monday in Addis Ababa was inconclusive.

Mr. Luk said various working groups agreed to hold extra sittings in Addis Ababa, Juba and Khartoum to sort out pending issues before declaration of independence.

He added that GoSS defends the ground rule that nothing is agreed until all is agreed.

Mr. Luk added that oil sub-committee will meet in Khartoum next week.
