About one hundred delegates from Torit are set to attend the three-day Equatoria conference.
Eastern Equatoria governor, Louis Lobong told the delegates that the conference aims at representing the views of the people of Equatoria into a single regional block, Emmanuel Radio reported.The Equatoria conference follows an earlier consultative meeting held in Western Equatoria capital, Yambio, between governors of the three Equatoria states.
Deputy state governor Nartisio Manir Loluke said the delegation to Juba will discuss the mode of governance for the new nation.
He added that it is upon the people whether to choose decentralization, federalism or any other form of governance.
Mr. Loluke said the common challenges that face people of Equatoria since the signing of the CPA will be discussed.
The deputy governor called for the unity of the people of the state and the entire SouthSudan as a new nation.
The Eastern Equatoria state delegates today held a one-day pre-Equatoria conference in Torit hotel to get reay for the Equatoria conference scheduled to take place in Juba from the 14th to the 16th.
