The Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption in Torit called on the faithful to contribute generously towards construction of the house of worship.
Fr. Martin Madrara said the church will be historic in the Country and a great award to Jesus for granting successto the new nation.Fr. Madrada said that the completion of the church requires about seven hundred thirty five thousand, nine hundred twenty seven US dollars.
He added that less than half of the required amount has so far been received.
The parish is distributing envelops to the Christian community to extent their contributions towards the roofing and finishing of the new temple.
