The bishop of Torit will be received today by Christians in the Catholic Diocese after three months of leave.
Johnson Akio Mutek has been out of the Diocese, for a time of rest and treatment in Nairobi.
The Vicar general of the Diocese, Fr. Joseph Okelo, called upon all Christians to turn up to welcome Bishop Akio Mutek on his arrival.
Fr. Joseph explained that the arrival of the Bishop coincides with the celebration of his ordination as a priest and his ordination feast as Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Torit.
A holy mass has been organized to mark the occasion.
