The International Movement of Catholic Students IMCS started a four day workshop to deliberate on the cases surrounding the referendum scheduled to take place in early January 2011 under the theme of “Let my people go.”
Many government and church leaders will present different topics on referendum, youth and nationalism, leadership and good governance during the four days.
Addressing the gathering in All Saints’ Parish Rejaf this morning, Mr. Mabor Marial Ater, Chairman of IMCS said the workshop was intended to offer opportunity for the Catholic Students to share experiences and current issues affecting the youth and the Sudan as a whole.
Mr. Marial explained that the IMCS also gathered in Rejaf to deliberate on the issues affecting them and find comprehensive solutions to the problems.
About fifty IMCS participants attended the workshop from across the country and representatives from Eastern Africa.
