The training is in collaboration with the south Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (SSRRC).
Talking to SCR news, Rev. William Chau Achuil, acting director of the SSRRC, said the ministry staff will be empowered with enough information on structures and policies of their operation.
He added that the staff will also be able to identify environmental hazards, which will enable them create an environment that supports the weak during times of disaster.
Rev. William assuered that the trainees will be able to create an early-warning system to effectively respond to hazards like floods, draughts and earth quakes.
