The SPLM Southern Sector grieved the death of GoSS Minster of Agriculture and forestry.
Dr. Samson Kwaje died of a kidney failure yesterday at Agha Khan Hospital in Nairobi.
Kwaje’s death has left painful moments in the lives of his family, relatives, close friends and south Sudanese.
SPLM secretary for Culture, Information and Communication, Bol Makweng, told Journalist that Samson Kwaje was not only a minister but also serving in the SPLM Political bureau.
Mr. Makweng said that late Kwaje would be remembered for liberating the people of southern Sudan since the time of Anyanya One and the SPLM.
He added that Late Kwaje contributed to solving the plight of food insecurity in southern Sudan and could have done more in the Agriculture sector.
He affirmed that Samson Kwaje taught south Sudanese much as a fighter and unity seeker.
GoSS president Salva Kiir Mayardit added the name of Samson Kwaje to the list of martyrs, heroes and heroines who were martyred for freedom and justice.
South Sudan will mourn Kwaje’s death for three days, when all south Sudan flags will be lowered half mast.
His body will arrive tomorrow in Juba although the funeral arrangements have not yet been confirmed.
