Eastern Equatoria state ministry of health launched eight facilities in Magwi County.
The state minister of health, Sam Makuja ,told the press over the weekend that the health units were donations from UNHCR to help resettlement of returnees in Magwi County.
He said six of the facilities are newly built while two have been renovated through a project taken by ACROSS organization.
Mr. Makuja launched one facility in Acholi corridor and the other in Ma’di corridor.
He mentioned that the County Commissioner and the Health Commissioner would continue the opening ceremony of the other six units.
Magwi County, though highly populated, has been one of the counties with the poorest health facilities in Eastern Equatoria state.
