Fr. Danielle Moschetti is the head of the team that has coordinated the initiative.
He told Good News Radio that the initiative has brought together youth, children, men and women, explaining that those involved have known about the history, geography, economics and politics of each of the 32 nations of the World Cup.
Fr. Moschetti congratulated all the teams of Mapuordit involved in the initiative, adding that everybody worked hard.
Fr. Moschetti said that the initiative will officially conclude on Sunday, July 11th, with the Bishop of Rumbek, Caesar Mazzolari presiding over the ceremony.
Fr. Moschetti further said that the Payam Administrator and the local Paramount Chief will attend the prize giving ceremony, explaining that the whole community was involved in the initiative.
Fr. Moschetti noted that the initiative has brought better relationships between the different groups in the community because of a common goal.
Mapuordit World Cup of Knowledge was launched on June 5th under the theme: “Justice, Peace and Reconciliation must prevail.”
