COMMISSIONER VISITS EAST AFRICAN PRISONERS IN RUMBEK

Rumbek Central County Commissioner, Dut Makoi, yestreday paid a visit to the East African prisoners detained at Rumbek Central prison.
The Commissioner was accompanied by Paul Kimani and David representing the Kenyan and Ugandan Communities in Rumbek respectively.

He said that the visit aimed at listening to the Kenyan and Ugandan prisoners detained at Rumbek Central Prison.

He revealed that the East African nationals detained have rape, labor, and murder cases.

The Chairman of the Ugandan Community in Lakes State, David, said that there are 11 East African nationals behind bars.

He thanked Rumbek County Commissioner for the visit. Mr. Paul Kimani, representing the Kenyan Community in Lakes State, appealed for justice.

Lakes State is currently hosting hundreds of East African Nationals.
