The interim constitutions were to last for the period of six years of the interim period before the referendum for southern Sudan.
The secretary general of the Council Alamin Daffala told the press on Thursday that the Court would review the constitution after six months for both ruling systems of the north and the south, Sudan Radio service reported.
Mr. Daffala explained that the interim constitution would function until the referendum.
He added that the council would supervise the popular consultation process for the Blue Nile and Southern Kordofan in coordination with the presidency.
