HEALTH ORAGNISATION LAUNCHES HIV AWARENESS IN CENTRAL EQUATORIA

Family health international launched today an HIV/AIDS awareness campaign in Central Equatoria state.
The Campaign is meant to sensitize the citizens and encourage them to voluntarily perform HIV tests.

Jackline Mumin Nejib is the project coordinator for Family Health International in Central Equatoria state.

She told SCR news that the campaign against HIV began last week in Yei County and ends today in Juba County.

Ms. Mumin said Family Health Organization is offering free testing and counseling for the people in Central Equatoria in public places like markets.

Ms. Mumin explained that the campaign will help people who can not reach the Voluntary Counseling and Testing have access for testing.

Mr. Mumin revealed that about fifteen hundred people have so far been tested in Juba County.
The Campaign is organized by family health international in conjunction with the ministry of health Central Equatoria state.
