Sudan Peoples’ Liberation Movement SPLM and National Congress Party NCP will start talks on the post-referendum issues on the 5th of July in Khartoum.
The agreement was reached in Ethiopia between the SPLM and NCP delegation this week.
Addressing the press upon his arrival, Mr. Pagan Amum said the most important issue is the protection of southerners in the north and northerners in the south in case south Sudan secedes.
Mr. Amum said that financial issues related to the type of currency will be discussed. He added that the sharing of oil incase of secession will be discussed as well. Mr. Amum mentioned that the International treaties signed by Sudan as a country will also be discussed.
