The Catholic Diocese of Torit is launching today a community based animal health delivery service programme in Eastern Equatoria.
Programme monitoring and evaluation officer, Mr. Anthony Awira, told Emmanuel Radio that the project aimed at improving the livelihood of the residents in the state who are predominantly cattle keepers.Mr. Awira said the programme was sponsored by Multi Donor Trust Fund/Livestock and Fisheries Development Programme, under supervision of GoSS ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries.
Eastern Equatoria state Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Animal Resources, Jerome Gama Surur, presides over the launching ceremony at the Bishop’s House.
