Murle youth condemned the recent killing of cattle traders in the outskirts of Juba and urged authorities to bring them to book.

Armed men attacked a Murle camp of cattle for sale in Gumbo, near Juba, Sunday night, killing five traders and injuring another four.

The robbers got away with 206 heads of cattle Murle traders brought from Pibor, in Jonglei State, to sell in Juba.

Talking to SCR News, one of the Murle youth leaders said his association condemned the killing in the strongest terms.

He urged law enforcers to hunt the attackers and bring them to justice.

The youth leader noted that Murle traders were often attacked by robbers and the government did not take any step to clamp down the situation.
