Senior women managers from Lakes and Northern Bahr el Ghazal states have praised a five-day training that concluded today.
The government of southern Sudan organized training on managerial skills for senior women managers in public service from the ten states in different sessions.Participants from Lakes and Northern Bahr el Ghazal states concluded the gradual training of senior women across southern Sudan.
Adior Kuol Amum was one of the participants at the workshop. She told SCR News that the training should help the women to function effectively in their offices.
Ms. Kuol added that the five-day workshop should be complemented with other trainings because most of the offices and officials were newly established.
Another participant, Illona Sadia, said the training would help the women to construct comprehensive strategic plans for their various institutions of work.
The training that drew some 45 participants from Lakes and northern Bahr el Gazal states ended with the awarding of certificates.
