Government teachers in Kajo-Keji received two months salaries after a three-week strike in demand for their arrears.
Kajo-Keji County inspector for Education Moses Koprot Kenyi told Easter Radio that government schools were not operating since May 24 due to a teachers’ sit back strike protesting delays in appointments and payment of salaries for March, April and May.Mr. Koprot said the strike did not affect private schools.
Mr. Koprot added that the county had more than 200 secondary school teachers.
