EASTERN EQUATORIA SETS UP GHOST WORKERS HUNTER TEAM

Eastern Equatoria government instituted a ten-member team to clean up employees’ lists of ghost workers from the payroll.

The probe team is headed by Acting High Court President Justice Pheiji Daduop Deng Deng, Emmanuel Radio reported.

State minister for Public Service and Human Resource Development, Emilio William Odingili, said the probe team would move to every county and payam to cross-check the existence of civil servants in their respective working places.

The validation exercise aims at reviewing the workforce capacity in the state, the ability of individual employees to perform and verification of physical existence of every civil servant on the payroll together with the checking of academic qualifications and work experience of every employee.
