An international law institution is currently training southern Sudanese judges how to read and write judicial English.

International Development Law Organization director for special initiatives, Yohannes Kassahun, said the training aimed at improving the capacity of judges in southern Sudan, SRS reported.

Mr. Kassahun added that judges should speak a language that people understood locally and be able to read and understand their material.

Most Soudan Sudan judges studied Sharia law in Arab and the South follow Common Law.
