WESTERN EQUATORIA GOVERNOR CALLS FOR RECONCILIATION AND FORGIVENESS

The governor of Western Equatoria called upon the communities of his state to reconcile and forgive each other following elections trauma.

Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro was crowned with a Zande high traditional dress before addressing the Western Equatoria community this afternoon in Juba.

Mr. Bangasi said the citizens of western Equatoria needed to reconcile after highly charged elections.

He added that he did not hate anybody.

Mr. Bangasi called on state members of parliament to pardon and reconcile since the whole community was affected by election trauma.

Mr. Bangasi explained that reconciliation and forgiveness were important because bad words were use against opponents during the political campaigns.

The visit of governor Bangasi to the Western Equatoria community in Juba was celebrated with traditional dances of ethnic communities from the state.
