A Norwegian delegation headed by the minster for foreign affairs met yesterday the SPLM secretary general to discuss the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement and the referendum.
Minister Jonas Gahr Stone said his government was willing to be involved in the referendum process.Mr. Stone added that Norway would assist the SPLM and the NCP to discuss post referendum issues.
SPLM Secretary General Pagan Amum said the visit of the Norwegian delegation was important in a critical time for South Sudan.
Mr. Amum added that the visit represented the Norwegian commitment to ensure the implementation of the CPA and the organization of the referendum.
