Thirty pupils from St. Kizito primary school, in Isoke Central Boma, Eastern Equatoria, received training on personal hygiene and sanitation.

The training that kicked off on Monday lasted for three days and took place at the primary school compound, Emmanuel Radio reported.

Lutheran World Federation (LWF), in conjunction with AVSI, an Italian NGO, and the Catholic Diocese of Torit, conducted the training.

Lofitok John, the LWF Health co-ordinator, said the activity aimed at making the pupils aware on how to keep personal hygiene and sanitation at home and in the community.

Mr. Lofitok added that more of such training would be carried with pupils across Ikotos County.

The head teacher of St. Kizito primary school, Sister Pasqwuina Iromo, praised the participants, both boys and girls, for their positive response to the training.
