The Catholic Diocese of Rumbek (DOR) has a new Pastoral coordinator at its Nairobi administrative base, in Kenya.
Ernst Ulz, an Italian national, was appointed the new DOR Pastoral Coordinator, taking over from Marcellus Nkafu from Cameroun, Good News Radio reported.Both belonged to the Focolari Movement, a lay association.
Bishop Caesar Mazzolari of Rumbek announced the change in a letter to the church personnel and friends entitled “Passing of the Torch in the DOR Pastoral Coordination.”
Bishop Mazzolari thanked Mr. Nkafu for what he described as “his genuine ability in reaching out to dedicated and generous friends and contributors who support DOR”, a responsibility he held for the last seven years.
Mr. Nkafu left for Switzerland to work in the formation of Focolari candidates.
