The rate of accidents is increasing in Yei town due to speeding and drugs.
Yei County Director of Traffic Police, Andrew Kenyi, told Easter Radio that his office received more reports of accidents this month.Mr. Kenyi explained that the major causes of accidents in town are speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.
He revealed that most accidents happen on Maridi and Kaya roads.
Mr. Kenyi advised motorists to drive carefully to safeguard the lives of pedestrians and reduce the number of accidents in the town.
