The head of the Catholic University of Sudan called on the community to support their own students especially with tuition fees.
Fr. Michael Schultheis was speaking at the official closure of the 2010 academic year.Fr. Schultheis said communities needed to help the students pay their tuition fees.
Fr. Schulteize told students to play a leading role in the society during the holidays by visiting the sick, get children out of the streets and building peace in the community.
The Catholic University of the Sudan was established two years ago and operated at the Comboni Secondary School premises.
The students dispersed yesterday for their holiday after completing final examinations.
The new academic year starts in August at a new site.
