GoSS President’s release of all appointed executive officials left staff at Yei County in a dilemma when they reported for work yesterday and found no one in charge.
Yei County Deputy Executive Director, Joseph Wani Mogga, told Easter Radio that he found the office of the commissioner locked by security personnel when he reported for work.Mr. Wani said the presidential decree set the county staffs in the dilemma to whom to report to or how to carry with their duties since it did not nominate who is in charge in the commissioner’s absence.
Mr. Wani said the commissioner will be appointed by the governor when he forms his new government.
Mr. Wani said the he is expecting information from the government to indicate clearly who is to take care of the county office until the new commissioner is appointed.
