Dr. S. A. Krishnan is a Medical Advisor and Training Consultant working with Arkangelo Ali Association (Triple A). Since 2000, this Indian national was involved in capacity building for TB and TB-HIV control program.

Dr. Krishnan told Good News Radio that South Sudan experienced what he described as “very major significance change” in the health sector.

Citing the example of training facilities in terms of infrastructure and content, Dr. Krishnan said the Ministry ensured good coordination of the various organizations involved in health programs.

Dr. Krishnan urged the public to take care of their health, and to be careful particularly about the realities of Tuberculosis B and HIV and AIDS.

He insisted that it was important that everyone knew his or her health status through medical testing and seeking advice from medical practitioners.

Many organizations involved in the health sector in Southern Sudan took up the task of bringing about HIV and AIDS awareness, usually in partnership with state or GoSS Ministries of Health.
