A Church source told SCR News over the phone that supposed Lord’s Resistance Army members yesterday attacked Sangwa, a village some nine miles from Nzara, and took 15 hostages.
The same source added that 12 hostages managed to run away and the attackers took three children with them.
The LRA was quiet for a while in Western Equatoria, but this is the fourth attack attributed to the Ugandan rebels this month in Western Equatoria.
