Three priests of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba celebrated today the eighth anniversary of their ordination.

Frs. Oliver Nyara, Emmanuel Jube and Charles Tombe were ordained priests on May 11, 2003 in Juba by Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro.

Speaking to SCR News, Fr. Oliver Nyara, St. Joseph’s acting parish priest, thanked God for his vocation.

Fr. Nyara admitted that in eight years he had to face some difficulties while serving Christ and the Church but Jesus was his strength.

He promised to continue serving as a priest the end of his life.

Fr. Nyara thanked the faithful of the Archdiocese for their support since the ordination up to this very day.

Fr. Emmanuel Jube, another celebrating priest, thanked God for reaching eight years of priesthood.

Fr. Jube vowed to serve the people of God with enthusiasm because priesthood is service to God in his people.

The three priests celebrated the occasion at Saint Kizito Parish, where one of them, Fr. Charles Tombe, is the parish priest.
