A GoSS minister said she feels cheated by teachers who are not delivering better services to their students.
GoSS caretaker minister for Labour and Public Service, Awut Deng Achuil, addressed yesterday the participants at the fifth anniversary of the Go to School initiative celebration.Mamma Awut said government, parents and school children are being cheated by teachers who do not work well.
Mamma Awut revealed that few of the teachers she spoke to qualified for the job.
The minister lamented that the government of Southern Sudan is paying quantity rather than quality teachers.
Mamma Awut concluded that teachers in southern Sudan need to be scrutinized well before admitted to the profession.
