U.S. Secretary of State said yesterday that the American admininstration is committed to bringing President elect Omar al-Bashir to justice.
Hillary Clinton said Mr. al-Bashir was once quoted as saying that he cannot take the International Criminal Court issue seriously.She explained that Mr. al-Bashir is an indicted war criminal and that the U.S. is committed to seeing him brought to justice, AFP reported.
Ms. Clinton said the elections in the Sudan were flawed.
She revealed that part of U.S. strategy was to empower the opposition parties and voters in order to go out and vote.
