Residents of Juba have differing views over the media performance in southern Sudan.
SCR News interviewed some people to mark the World Press Freedom Day.A man said that the media reports both right and wrong information and for that reason journalists get arrested.
Another resident said the media in southern Sudan sometimes does not disclose certain information needed by the public.
She called on the press to disclose all information to the public, despite fears of security personnel.
Another resident praised the performance of the media.
He urged the government to take care of journalists to perform better their duties.
