A senior statesman announced yesterday that the commission that will organize the referenda in South Sudan and Abyei is to be announced next week.
Vice President Osman Taha said yesterday that the Commission for the Referendum of South Sudan will be announced in the coming days.Mr. Taha added that the commission will include “national and objective” personalities.
The Vice President affirmed that the NCP wanted to consolidate the unity of the country and would deal with the SPLM and the other national parties to achieve that goal.
