The Pope told the participants at a Conference on evangelization through the Internet that they should surf the digital waves without concern.
Pope Benedict said Christians must set sail on the digital sea without fear and with the same passion that has governed the Church for over two thousand years.He added the Church wants to live in the digital world in order to give a soul to the Internet.
The Holy Father urged media professionals to keep in their hearts a healthy passion for humanity.
Pope Benedict made these statements while addressing the participants at the conference on “Digital Witness”, promoted by the Italian Church.
