The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) won the governorship of the sensitive Blue Nile state, the National Election Commission (NEC) said yesterday.
The NEC announced at a press conference in Khartoum that the SPLM’s candidate Malik Aggar had more than 8700 votes than his rival Farah Aggar from the National Congress Party.Independent candidate Talha Ibrahim Al-Nour was third.
