Umma party spokeswoman Mariam Sadiq told reporters last evening that the government and the national election commission failed to respond to her party’s conditions on key demands.
Umma party had requested a four-week postponement for the elections and government funding for political parties among other conditions to take part in the polls.
The Umma Party political bureau met for two days before deciding to pull out from the polls.
The Catholic Radio Network (CRN) is a media project constituted by community-based radio stations broadcasting in Frequency Modulation from Juba, Yei, Torit, Yambio, Rumbek, Tonj, Wau, and Malakal.
