The Sudanese Ambassador to Kenya urges Sudanese living in Kenya to vote in the upcoming elections.
The Sudan elections are expected to start on April 11. However, Sudanese abroad will only be able to vote for the presidency of Sudan.
Speaking to SRS on Tuesday, Majok Guangdong called on all Sudanese to vote.
He mentioned that voting will start in the morning of 11 April at eight o’clock and the ballots will be closed daily at six o’clock in the evening.
He urged all the Sudanese who were registered in Kenya to come and vote because voting is a democratic right of the people of Sudan.
He noted that the exercise will give them a chance to choose a leader who can govern them.”
Guangdong also asked the representatives of the parties and civil society observers to be there on polling day.
