A returning southern Sudanese from the Netherlands said more secondary schools need to be constructed in the region.

Talking to SCR News, Kon Kalei, said many southerners are fleeing in search of better education.

Mr. Kalei called upon the government, NGOs and citizens to construct more secondary schools to stop the brain drain of young southerners.

Mr. Kalei said lack of secondary schools hinders the return of refugees and the people in the Diaspora.

He added that Jonglei has only four secondary schools to cover the whole state.

Mr. Kalei is building a secondary school in his native Adol village, in Bor. So far eight class rooms have been erected.
