The parish priest of St. Vincent de Paul in Gumbo praised the youth attending the vocation camp at his parish since Sunday.
Fr. Dominic Padinjaraparambil told SCR News that the youth at the vocation camp were different from the previous two years.Fr. Dominic said this year the participants at the vocation camp were well behaved and cooperative.
Fr. Dominic added he believes that many of the participants will apply to join different religious institutes and the diocesan clergy.
The six-day vocation camp drew 37 youths, including seven girls, from the 11 parishes of the Archdiocese of Juba.
The event was an initiative of the Salesians of Don Bosco and other religious congregations operating in Juba in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Juba.
