Over fifty lawyers and public prosecutors in south Sudan have undergone a four-day training on the electoral process.

Mathias Hartuing, the facilitator of the workshop, told SCR News that the training was meant to give more information to the participants about the elections process.

Mr. Hartuing added that at the end of the formation the participants should understand better the electoral system and their role on it.

Kuat Malueil Adage, legal counselor in Central Equatoria State, explained that during the training the participants revised a number of Acts related to the elections, an added value to their knowledge on the electoral process.
