CENTRAL EQUATORIA PRIVATE SCHOOLS ASKED TO BUILD ADEQUATE PREMISES

Private schools operating in Central Equatoria State have been told to acquire enough land and establish suitable premises in order to accommodate adequately their activities.

The statement was made by the Deputy Director for Private Schools in the Central Equatoria State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Timothy Taban Gale, while inspecting private schools in Yei River County, Spirit FM reported.

Mr. Taban cautioned schools operating in improper places like commercial buildings, next to markets and disco and video halls.

He also warned schools operating illegally without being registered saying they risk being closed if they do not follow the registration requirements before starting their operations.

Two private secondary schools and a college were declared to be operating in improper locations and premises.
