A member of Salva Kiir Mayardit campaign team said the SPLM will win comfortably in Jonglei state in the next month’s general elections.
Kuoc Nyuol, Mr. Kiirs’ campaign member of communication committee, told SCR News that he is optimistic that the SPLM will score a convincing victory in Jonglei polls.Mr. Nyuol said Mr. Kiir deserves to be voted for because he symbolizes peace and unity among southerners and all people in Sudan.
Mr. Nyuol said Mr. Kiir promised peace, security, prosperity and development to the peoples of Jonglei.
Mr. Kiir was welcomed by huge masses in Akobo, Pibor and Bor counties, in Jonglei state.
All through Mr. Kiir assured citizens that he will remain vigilant to the full implementation of the CPA, delivery of basic services, embracing democracy and tolerance to religious and political opinions.
Mr. Kiir promised he will increase women’s participation in the civil and social service to 30 percent.
